Meet the Founders
Ali Al-Nusif
Co-Founder
Ali discovered his passion for media while studying for his MBA in Los Angeles. There he commissioned a writer for a movie script. He is passionate, hard-working, always looking for the bigger picture, with a contagious personality.
Ali is in charge of the business side of Free Jabriya, and is looking to shake the industry by empowering people to grow and follow their own passion.
Jassim AlQames
Co-Founder
After a career in journalism, public relations, and politics, Jassim decided to pursue his dream of being a creator, gathering his experiences to tell stories and examining perspectives on the world we live in.
Following the Arab Spring, he and Ali co-founded Manshoor.com out of Cairo, as a platform for a new generation of Arabs to exchange their ideas. Jassim’s big break came when he developed and directed Tonight: The Eighties, a Kuwaiti musical show that was an instant hit in Kuwait before it toured in the GCC. He then went on to write and showrun Taqdeer AlEhteyaj, a government based sitcom, and Free Jabriya was launched.
